We could not be prouder of our PAFA students and faculty!

Thank you again to everyone who joined or supported PAFA’s 123rd Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party (ASE)! This was a night of beautiful art and wonderful community. Missed the Annual Preview Party? —The exhibition will still be on view from now until June 2nd and art sale is live! Students retain all proceeds from their art sales: by collecting their work, you are making a direct positive impact on their early careers.

We want to give Pia Halloran and Iris Shea, and the entire PAFA Women’s Committee, an especially big thank you for making this night such a success.

About the 123rd Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party:

For more than a century, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) has been the capstone academic achievement for our students. The ASE Preview Party, hosted by the Women's Committee of PAFA, kicked off the tradition this year on Thursday, May 9, 2024

Proceeds from the ASE Preview Party support fine arts training at PAFA and event guests enjoy first access to the sale of our rising artists’ work, along with numerous other benefits. Not only is the Preview Party an opportunity to support rising artists on the cusp of their professional careers, it is also a chance to connect with fellow art lovers and become the first collectors of tomorrow’s art stars.

The Annual Student Exhibition has been a launching stage for the careers of some of PAFA's acclaimed alumni, from living artists such as Bo Bartlett, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, and Elizabeth Osborne, to titans of the PAFA legacy, including Edna Andrade, Daniel Garber, Barkley L. Hendricks, and Laura Wheeler Waring. Join us this year to celebrate our students' part in this rich creative legacy.
