Conserving Sculpture w/ Adam Jenkins

Adam Jenkins and his team worked on the majority of the objects currently on display in Determined To Be: The Sculpture of John Rhoden.  This amazing team made John Rhoden's mastery visible through their careful cleaning and conservation techniques. This work, which took place over several years, provides all of us the opportunity to look closely at the objects and begin to appreciate the artist's process. Jenkins will lead a tour of the exhibition, talk about the conservation treatments made on the works, and share his observations about aesthetic choices the artist made.  

Museum admission is included in the registration.
