Frontline Worker Preview Days

Join us September 3 through 6, as we reopen our Historic Landmark Building for special Preview Days reserved for our essential frontline workers.
It’s our way of saying “thank you” to those of us who have tirelessly served our communities throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
It has been nearly six months since the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts closed its doors to the public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In Philadelphia and around the country, essential frontline workers continue to play an important role. They provide healthcare, deliver mail, ensure that food is accessible, and do so much more to safeguard our collective health and well-being.
During these special Preview Days, you’ll have the opportunity to explore PAFA’s renowned permanent collection of American art, from the historical to the contemporary, as well as our current special exhibitions.
PAFA continues to closely monitor the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Philadelphia and nationally, including advisories and orders from state and municipal authorities. Our planned Museum reopening date, and dates for upcoming events, are subject to change, pending further developments related to the public health situation in Philadelphia.
