In 2019, PAFA was awarded $75,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in order to process, catalog, digitize, and make publicly available an archival collection documenting the life and career of African American artist John W. Rhoden. Enjoy an exclusive opportunity to learn about the project from PAFA’s director of archives Hoang Tran and the Rhoden project team.
