2020 Open Studio Night

Join us for a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creative process of a new generation of emerging artists!

One of the most anticipated events on the School of Fine Art’s calendar, Open Studio Night is the one time each year when PAFA's graduate and undergraduate students open their studios to the public to show and discuss their works in progress.

The event takes place on five upper floors of the Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building at 128 N. Broad Street—including 200 private studios where PAFA students develop and refine their paintings, sculpture, prints, animations, and drawings. It also provides a sneak peek of works that may appear in the Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) opening in May, where more than 1,000 works by PAFA students are exhibited in the museum galleries.

In order to maintain a safe capacity for guests and students, we are offering two entry times. Registration through this page is for entry at 4pm. Click here to register for 6pm entry.

Space is limited. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required to enter the event. All visitors to PAFA are required to wear a mask. We strongly recommended that everyone wear a snugly fit surgical mask, N95 or KN95 when possible, though cloth masks that comply with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention mask guidance meet campus requirements for indoor mask compliance. Bandanas, gaiters and similar single-layer masks do not comply with current mask requirements.

Thank you for helping us maintain our campus safety.
