Kati Gegenheimer received her MFA in Painting & Printmaking at Yale School of Art in 2013 and a BFA in Printmaking & Art History from Tyler School of Art in 2007. Recent exhibitions include: In Between the Lines at Stueben Gallery at Pratt (Brooklyn, NY), Sick Painters at Ms Barbers, (Los Angeles, CA); Pleasure Quest at SAD Gallery, (Seattle, WA); and Post-Apologetic at Automat, (Philadelphia, PA). Gegenheimer was appointed Associate Director of Academic Enrichment Programs and adjunct Painting Faculty at her alma mater, Tyler School of Art in 2018. She currently lives and works in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The student-run Visiting Artist Program brings an outstanding roster of local, national and international artists to PAFA each semester. Through a series of public lectures, critiques, and workshops, the program exposes students and the public to a range of artistic approaches, as well as fostering discussion of contemporary art and ideas.
