Women In Motion: 150 Years of Women's Artistic Networks
Dig into some of the untold stories of women artists' networking, innovating and collaborating with PAFA's Assistant Director of Public Programs, Lori Waselchuk. This private tour of Women in Motion: 150 Years of Women's Artist Networks at PAFA will chart a course through multiple generations of women artists creating workarounds and surprisingly resilient lifestyles to change the field of American Art, beginning in Philadelphia. From the Peale daughters and Cecilia Beaux to Georgia O'Keeffe and Florine Stettheimer, this tour will introduce new and known artists and the tangled, complicated way they created new spaces for women to learn, work and love.
