"Untitled (spiral stitch .60)" consists of miniscule lines made to resemble sewn stitches and from a distance resembles overlapping leaves or foliage. This piece relies on a system of marks, gestures , and shapes that Bowlby repeats gradually throughout the process of making the drawing. It demands to be viewed from multiple viewing positions as the imagery changes in exciting and meaningful ways with the proximity of the viewer
