Artsy | What Museums Are Doing to Collect More Work by Women Artists

Claire Voon examines the efforts of museums—which includes PAFA—to expand their holdings of women artists.

“We are trying to build a collection that tells a truthful history of American art,” [PAFA Museum Director Brooke Davis Anderson] said. “That cannot be told without the work of women and artists of color.”
